Burnley have reportedly been keeping a keen eye on the movements around Brazilian winger Ferreira as a potential new forward.
Burnley continue to have a great summer, with Zeki Amdouni set to join officially from Basel today to drastically improve the attack. He joins James Trafford, Dara O’Shea and Jordan Beyer as new Clarets signings.
The transfer rebuild continues however as Football Scotland have reported that Vincent Kompany’s Burnley are monitoring the situation around Gremio attacker Ferreira.

The report merely states that the Turf Moor outfit are ‘monitoring’ however they add that Celtic have approached the Brazilian side over signing the 25-year-old who is seen as a Jota replacement.
Gremio have reportedly named their asking price which is said to be £6million, a fee both Celtic and the Clarets wouldn’t struggle to meet.
Who is Ferreira?
A question many Burnley fans are likely pondering as they see their side linked with yet another exciting attacking target.
Ferreira is an attacker who is extremely versatile and capable of playing to a high level across the from line on both wings, up front and in a striker position.
He joined Gremio in 2019 and has made 125 appearances for the club, scoring 22 goals and creating 20 in the process.
The exciting winger is uncapped for Brazil and yet to win any major honour in his career, as per Transfermarkt.
Ferreira’s contract is set to expire at the end of this current season in Brazil and therefore a deal could be made as Gremio look to avoid losing him on a free.
