Burnley have completed the signing of Aston Villa youngster Aaron Ramsey for a fee in excess of £12million.
Aaron Ramsey arrives as Vincent Kompany’s 11th new signing ahead of the Premier League campaign.
Burnley have signed now enough to field an entire new team but this could be the best of the bunch.
Cut from the same cloth as his brother Jacob, Aaron is coming off a season where he spent time with both Norwich and Middlesbrough on-loan.
The England under-20 midfielder is said to be delighted with the move coming off as he talked with club media following the announcement of the deal.
“I’m absolutely buzzing. I have been waiting to be a Burnley player for a while now and I’m really happy it’s all officially done now. I can’t wait to get started.”
He then concluded that, “I can’t wipe my smile off my face.”

Ramsey will be huge for Burnley
Ramsey is a player who has already displayed his talent at a senior level multiple times for multiple clubs.
He spent the first-half of last season on-loan at Norwich City where he made 20 appearances.
His displays earned him a different destination for January onwards as Middlesbrough came calling.
Here he made just 11 appearances however racked up an impressive five goals in this time which helped Boro reach the play-offs.
He seems to be a player who isn’t far from reaching his potential and who better than Kompany to help him reach it.
Ramsey arrived as an alternative to long-term Burnley target Jack Clarke, but arguably, this is an even better move for the Clarets.
He might not settle immediately but with this signing, Burnley will be paying for the future and potential as much as the right now.
Expect big things from this man.
