Burnley have named Dutch midfielder Gustavo Hamer as their next target as they continue their busy transfer window.
Vincent Kompany’s transfer preparations ahead of his Premier League debut as a manager. He has seen his Clarets bring England Under-21 hero James Trafford sign while Soumaila Coulibaly has came from Borussia Dortmund on-loan.
Trafford of course is hugely exciting, and has rose to huge prominence due to his marvellous displays throughout the Under-21 European Championships.
Additionally, Jordan Beyer and Dara O’Shea have both joined, with Kompany keen to continue and sign additional players to give himself the best chance of success.
Burnley now reportedly will turn their attentions towards Coventry City’s Hamer who is coming off a brilliant season which saw him score in the play-off final.

Burnley target Hamer
26-year-old Hamer has impressed for Coventry last season while playing against Burnley and throughout the entire season as he was key for his side as they reached the play-off final.
According to The Telegraph, Burnley have made the Brazilian-born midfielder their next top target, with a move likely given the financial power Burnley will have over Coventry.
Kompany has turned to Hamer as he looks to improve his central-midfield to a level which can compete in the Premier League. Multiple other English sides are said to be interested in signing the former PEC Zwolle star.
Therefore it is pivotal Burnley move quickly if they are to secure this signing, which has been made an important move to get done.
Burnley will likely also be looking for a striker this summer as they struggled there last season, despite the recent revelation that Wout Weghorst is set to stay.
But with Hamer the priority now, Burnley fans can get excited as he is a brilliant footballer.
