Burnley midfielder Josh Cullen has signed a new contract at the club.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Republic of Ireland international has signed a new deal to keep him at Turf Moor until 2026.
His original contract expired in 2025, so Clarets fans can expect to see a year more of Cullen, with an announcement on the new deal expected later today.
He joined Burnley last summer from Anderlecht and was a key figure as Burnley charged to the Championship title last season.
Is signing Josh Cullen to a new deal a good move for Burnley?

Cullen has been a peripheral figure since his arrival last summer, with the former West Ham United youngster playing 43 games last season, scoring once and claiming four assists.
He also started Burnley’s opening game of the Premier League season last Friday, a 0-3 loss at home to Manchester City, as he overcame a slight knock to play the full 90 minutes.
The former England U16 international was with Vincent Kompany at Anderlecht before joining him in moving back to England. Cullen had previously spent time out on loan at Charlton Athletic, Bradford City and Bolton Wanderers before moving to Belgium in October 2020.
Burnley would have been keen to keep hold of one of their key midfielders, with the likes of Josh Brownhill linked with a move to Cullen’s former club West Ham.
The club have been ‘anxious’ to reward his reliability, and rightly so. Cullen has been excellent since his arrival in claret and blue, so a new deal should not come as a surprise to Burnley fans.
