Burnley winger Darko Churlinov’s proposed move to Schalke is off.
According to Fussball Transfers, Churlinov was attracting the interest of former club Schalke.
However, that proposed move is off for the time being as he will not be fully fit until October, as he is currently out with an illness.
Churlinov played for Schalke in the 21/22 season, when he was there on loan from Stuttgart.
What next for Darko Churlinov

Churlinov joined Burnley last summer from Stuttgart for a fee believed to be around €3.5 million. He had been at Stuttgart for two-and-a-half years, joining in January 2020 from FC Koln for an undisclosed fee.
Predominantly a left winger, the North Macedonia international can also play on the right wing and in central attacking midfield.
The 23-year-old has failed to make an impression at Turf Moor so far, only making seven appearances in the Championship as the Clarets cruised to the Championship title.
Churlinov is more than likely going to be forced down the pecking order, as Burnley look to bolster their options down the wing for the Premier League.
So far they have been heavily linked with a number of wingers, including resigning Nathan Tella on a permanent deal from Southampton after he spent last season on loan at Turf Moor.
There is also FC Nordsjaelland’s Ernest Nuamah, PSV Eindhoven’s Johan Bakayoko and Hertha Berlin’s Dodi Lukebakio that have been linked with moves.
Burnley have already made 12 signing this window, and look to bring in more. Earlier today they confirmed the signing of Anderlecht centre-back Hannes Delcroix for an undisclosed fee on a three-year-deal.
Burnley have been having a mini exodus of their current wingers, with Dara Costelloe joining St Johnstone on loan, whilst Scott Twine has joined Hull City on loan.
