Burnley face Nottingham Forest in the second round of the Carabao Cup, as they head to the City Ground on Wednesday evening.
Burnley will be looking for their first win of the season since getting promotion to the Premier League via winning the Championship. They have lost their opening two games of the Premier League season, losing 3-0 to Manchester City at home on the opening day, and then losing 3-1 at home again to Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon.
Nottingham Forest have started better this season, playing three games in the Premier League so far. They lost on the opening weekend 2-1 at Arsenal, before beating Sheffield United 2-1. They nearly produced a giant killing on Saturday at Old Trafford, leading Manchester United 2-0 within four minutes, however United came back and went on to win 3-2.
Neither team played in the first round of the Cup due to Premier League teams that haven’t qualified for Europe being automatically put in the second round.
Here is how we expect Burnley to line up against Nottingham Forest this evening.
