Burnley are continuing to try to strike a deal with Coventry City to sign their talented midfielder Gustavo Hamer.
Burnley have enjoyed a solid start to their transfer window this summer with James Trafford incoming, however have saw their move for Soumaila Coulibaly collapse.
Additionally, Jordan Beyer and Dara O’Shea have also joined to reinforce Vincent Kompany’s Burnley.
The Clarets boss is keen to continue his recruitment as he is full aware much of his success last season was due to players who had arrived on-loan.
Attention has turned to the brilliant Coventry City midfielder Gustavo Hamer who is coming off a huge season as he helped his side reach the Play-Off finals.

It has now been suggested that Burnley are keen to include players in any deal for Hamer.
Burnley pushing a swap deal for Hamer
Hamer is among the leagues standout players and has long been linked with a move away from the Sky Blues.
According to the Daily Mail, Burnley are working on a £15million move for Hamer, with a deal potentially including Luke McNally or Bobby Thomas going in the other direction.
McNally spent the second half of last season on loan at Coventry and could be an attractive proposition for Mark Robins to be included in a deal.
Hamer is a wonderful talent and has been complimented by his teammate, Coventry keeper Marko Marosi.
Marosi told the Sky Blues Extra via Coventry Telegraph, “Gustavo is unbelievable,
“He is a funny guy as well and a great character.” Clearly Hamer is a top influence to have around the club.
Kompany looks set to get his man, with the 26-year-old Dutch-Brazilian a player tipped for huge success at the top level.
