Burnley are set to miss out on Dodi Lukebakio to Europa League champions Sevilla.
According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Lukebakio is set to join Sevilla for a fee of €9 million with add-ons.
Lukebakio is said to have chosen Sevilla as they can give him the opportunity to play Champions League football. He is said to have arrived for his medical yesterday evening, and will sign a four-year-deal with the Europa League champions.
The 777Partners connection between the two clubs is also said to have helped facilitate the move for the Belgian international, who had also previously played for Watford.
Will Burnley rue missing out on Dodi Lukebakio?

Burnley have been targeting wingers all window with Lukebakio not the only one they have been looking at.
The Clarets have also been linked with bringing back Southampton’s Nathan Tella, after he had a superb season on loan at Turf Moor last season, scoring 17 goals as they soared to the Championship title.
They were also looking at Ernest Nuamah of FC Nordsjaelland, but he looks set to join Lyon despite interest from a lot of top European clubs.
There was also PSV Eindhoven’s Johan Bakayoko, who they also face competition for from a round Europe.
Burnley’s winger situation is an interesting one, with the likes of Scott Twine and Dara Costelloe leaving on loan in the last week, whilst Darko Churlinov was also set to leave but an illness has scuppered that.
But with the likes of Anass Zaroury, Manuel Benson and Johann Gudmundsson, and on top of that new signings in Nathan Redmond and Jacob Bruun Larsen, you have to ask if Burnley need another, with a number of options at manager Vincent Kompany’s disposal.
