Burnley winger Scott Twine has joined Hull City on loan for the season.
The 24-year-old Joined Burnley last summer from MK Dons, but with game time going to be seemingly limited at Turf Moor in the Premier League this season, the decision has been made for him to spend the season with the Tigers.
Hull manager Liam Rosenior said on Hull’s official website that they beat ‘many top clubs from the Championship’ for his signature.
“He’s the perfect type of player I want in my team because he completely fits our philosophy,” Rosenior said.
“What I love about Scott is his ability to finish actions – to take shots, convert chances and he’s deadly from set-plays. His personality will completely fit into the group. He’s fantastic technically, can take the ball between lines, has got amazing movement, makes intelligent runs, presses well and likes to link and combine with other players.
“Scott can play in multiple positions and most importantly, he has end product – an area we identified as one we needed to improve on for this season.”
Is this a good move for Twine?

Twine missed half of last season through injury, as Burnley cruised to the Championship title. That does not mean that he did not play a part, however.
Despite only playing 14 games, he did score three times and got one assist, including a memorable 87th-minute winner against West Bromwich Albion in January.
This move has been on the cards for some time, and with Burnley’s pursuit for a winger ongoing, playing time was going to be hard to come by.
Twine clearly has a lot of quality, and a full season in the Championship for Hull could be great for him, playing for a team who are looking to make the play-offs this season after a mid-table finish last time out
