Burnley winger Dara Costelloe has joined St Johnstone on loan in the Scottish Premiership.
The 21-year-old will spend the season up in Scotland after spending the second half of last season on loan at Bradford City in League Two.
The Irishman joined Burnley from Galway United in February 2021 for an undisclosed fee, and spent his first year and a half at the club with the development squad.
However, last season Costelloe broke through into the first-team squad, with manager Vincent Kompany giving him his Burnley debut when he started on the opening day at Huddersfield Town.
He then joined Bradford for the second half of the season, making eleven appearances as the Bantams reached the play-offs in League Two.
Is this a good move for Dara Costelloe?

Costelloe will be wanting to make the most of this move after failing to make a huge impression whilst at Bradford. He is still a very talented winger, however, and will offer plenty of versatility across the Saints attack. St Johnstone finished ninth last season and have lost their opening two games so far this season, so will be looking to kick on for the rest of the campaign.
Costelloe would have been moving down the pecking order with reports of Burnley chasing winger Dodi Lukebakio, so a loan move makes sense.
